About Scott

Find Out Why I Blew the Whistle

For 33 years, I served proudly as an archaeologist with the U.S. Forest Service, committed to protecting our shared cultural heritage.

The Whistleblower

Placed in an Impossible Position

Over time, I was placed in an impossible position: remain silent in the face of wrongdoing, or uphold my public duty.

I chose to speak out.

My whistleblower case exposes the systematic destruction of significant Native American sites. What I witnessed wasn’t just negligence it was a pattern of deliberate indifference to irreplaceable heritage.

Reform

I'm Fighting For Transparency and Awareness

This fight is about more than one case. It’s about ensuring meaningful reform so that the Forest Service can no longer ignore new science and evidence, bypass tribal consultation, or continue practices that place irreplaceable heritage at risk.

Learn what changes are needed, and why accountability matters.

"When history is forgotten, when it is diluted or erased, we are untethered."
